We are an organization for the South Asian Performing Arts.
Our overarching (and also very broad) goal is to strive to create high quality programming for the public while simultaeneously helping artists achieve their goals.
We hope to achieve this by combining several types of events and services, particularly by applying the nonprofit/for profit business model. In the non-profit sector, we provide educational events, productions, etc; and in the for profit sector artists and corporations may hire us as an event planning or agency service.
Navatman Ventures is our for profit sector. Looking to go on tour? Need help with a fundraiser? Simply looking for someone to plan your next concert in a flawless manner? Look no further. Part of the profits from this goes directly back to fund Navatman's work.
The Navatman School is our school - with over seven genres of Indian classical music and dance, and having taught over 300 students in the past 3 years (and retaining an active base of 150 plus students) the school emphasizes quality and commitment to its students.
Navatman Dance is our resident dance company. Striving to push boundaries, this company has an annual season in Manhattan and a touring season yearly.
Navatman Productions produces close to 50 dance and music programs a year, including our brunch performances, Bhinna Pravaaha series, and Drive East. To see what we've done in the past, click here.
