An immersive experience in exploring innovation in Indian classical music content, distribution and education. The goal is to empower young, talented practitioners to create impact over a one-year period.

The week-long program gives talented young musicians an opportunity to work intensively on a new creative idea in a team, with the support of facilitators in an environment that encourages innovation and creative risk-taking. Through team sessions with creative advisors, Fellows engage in an artistically rigorous process that offers them invaluable lessons in both the creative process and the supporting activities needed to bring the idea to life and to audiences.

The festival includes an extension to Navatman’s kids’ classes through a summer camp. We aim to provide youngsters with opportunities to continue exploring South Asian dance and music.
