Mirrors and Acoustic Curtains: $3000 - $4000
These curtains allow us to preserve the space as a whole, with minimal noise bleeding from one side to the other, allowing us to convert it into a multi use space. Without this, we will have to spend thousands of dollars putting up a permanent wall and will not be able to return to performances.

Mirrors, while not needed for learning from the teacher, are great to have to analyze your own bodies.

Removable dance flooring for stronger knees and joints: $10000
This is an investment in Navatman's - and your - future. Dance floors are sprung and help protect most commonly injured areas: knees, ankles etc. In addition, this floor is transportable - we will be able to move it into any space we move into, so our investment is safely protected for 10-20 years.

And, if you haven't heard, Navatman will over the next few years have its own archive at the New York Public Library (!) for our work in the Indian arts in NYC. So it is likely that we will transfer the artwork for preservation once created to the library at some point, preserving your legacy in the Indian arts for years to come. |
