SOMA Cross-Cultural Works, the non-profit organization behind last year’s inaugural DiwaliFestNJ and this spring’s LunarFestNJ, has once again partnered with the Township of Maplewood to host the second annual DiwaliFestNJ, a unique multicultural celebration of Diwali (Indian festival of lights) for the whole community.​

Kussum Mahotsav TSA 2018 is one of the largest festivals of its kind in the Tri-State area featuring 70+ outstanding Hindustani classical and semi-classical musicians and dancers representing major classical dance forms from all over India. This festival is a celebration of the excellence, commitment, and dedication of the amazing musicians and dancers in the Tri-State area and North America; our rich Indian heritage; and our traditional Indian performing arts.

​This year’s student showcase is ‘Parampara,’ a step-by-step progression of how our students evolve and blossom into performers, capable enough to commence a career in this field of Indian Classical Dance and Music. 

​​As Navatman and it's branches - the Music Collective, Dance Company, School, Production Arm, and Drive East grow, our supporters have come together to host it's very first fundraising event. 

Navatman's newest series, community concerts, features free concert showings of local artists in small, community oriented spaces around the tri-state area.
