Navatman Internship Programs
Who it is for:
This program is not just for college students and recent graduates! It’s for anyone who is interested in getting a taste of what it means to work in the arts. You could be a performing artist (established, upcoming or a student), or maybe you’d like a career switch. If you think Performing Arts is the industry for you and you’d like to join an organization with an integrated value chain like ours, then read on!
What it entails:
Time commitment:
Upwards of 10 hours per week for the duration of their program.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Interns will get the opportunity to work across the different aspects of our organization including the School, Company and Events, and will be given the opportunity to work on a specific project of their own.

Winter:
Winter Interns will train in Program Management, specifically in the areas of Budgeting and Planning, and overall Organizational Strategy.

Spring:
Spring interns will train in Event Management, gaining full insight to the process involved from Budgeting to Post-Event Reporting.

Summer:
Summer Interns will be required to join us Full-Time for the duration of 2-3 months and will be given the opportunity to work on our internationally renowned Drive East festival in either the areas of Artist Management, Media Relations, Marketing, Ticketing and CRM.
No Fall Internship available.

Internal Program Transfers:
But this isn’t the end of the road! Interns are eligible for a program transfer to one of our Full-Time programs if they show potential and commitment.
Interns with relevant backgrounds will also be able to apply for Teacher Training and to be a member of Navatman Dance or the Navatman Music Collective through our internal application process.
And of course the role comes with perks.

Perks:
Interns are allowed to take an unlimited number of dance or music classes at the School, as per discussion and agreement at the beginning of their program.
