With the celebration of the end of our second year, we brought back our usual raas/garba holiday event to mark our achievements! This year's event was supported by the following organizations:

The world famous Kishore Garu came to Anamika-Navatman providing us an intensive: 6 hours of dance for 4 days! We hope to bring back this amazing guru and artist next year as well --

OS Thiagarajan, recipient of the Sangeetha Choodamamani award and great carnatic music master, gave a great concert with local favorite Akshay Anantapadmanabhan on the mridangam and Ranjani Ramakrishnan on the violin.

"Prince of Dance" was Anamika-Navatman's first all-male classical dance show. For our second year running, we were joined by Seshadri Iyengar (bharatanatyam), Murali Mohan (kathak), and Tushar Bhatt (kathak).

Winner of the prestigious "Kalaimamani" award of Tamilnadu, Ramya Ramnarayan brings a bharatanatyam event to Manhattan with an equally talented orchestra featuring singer Nandini Sharma Anand, mridangist Srihari Rangaswamy, Narasimhamurthy Ramamishra playing the flute as well as Srinidhi Mathur on the violin.

The young maestro R. Suryaprakash (vocals) Sri Nagai Sriram (violin) and Sri Tanjore K Murugaboopathi (mridangam) gave an unforgettable concert. All three of these artists have an incredible number of awards to their name including best violinist/best mridangist/best vocalist by various sabhas in India.
